International Dog Day

Today, Tuesday 26 August, is International Dog Day, a day to celebrate the loyal companions who bring so much love, strength, and joy into our lives. For us at Muscle Republic, this day carries a very special meaning.

Our story began with one remarkable Staffie, Charlie Brown, the “OG CEO” who inspired our Founder, Vic, to create Muscle Republic. Charlie wasn’t just a pet, he was family, and his pawprints remain at the heart of everything we do. His legacy reminds us daily that Real Muscle is Heart.

Charlie's legacy lives on through Jack, Vic's newly adopted Staffie from Sydney Dogs & Cats Home - a place that has been reuniting, rehabilitating, and rehoming lost and abandoned animals for almost 80 years. The home of hope, giving every animal a second chance while they wait for their forever home.

That’s why today we’re giving back. In honour of Charlie and in celebration of all the dogs who inspire us, a portion of sales made this International Dog Day will be donated to Sydney Dogs & Cats Home, helping them continue their incredible work.

Charlie showed us that Real Muscle Is Heart. Today we celebrate his spirit with every step we take and every paw we honour.
